Role Description This full-time, on-site Biomedical Engineer role is based in Kuwait. The Biomedical Engineer will handle the installation, calibration, and testing of medical and biomedical equipment in clinical and healthcare settings. Daily tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating repairs, and ensuring equipment performance meets safety and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with clinical staff to understand equipment needs, providing user guidance on safe operation, and documenting service activities and maintenance records. The Biomedical Engineer will also support equipment procurement evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes.
Qualifications
- * Strong foundation in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to medical technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Medical Equipment, including installation, calibration, and functional testing in healthcare environments.
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices to ensure reliability, safety, and minimal downtime.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of healthcare safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to prioritize multiple service requests.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with clinical, technical, and vendor stakeholders.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kuwait and support occasional after-hours or emergency service needs as required.
