BD Holding is looking for a Senior Research & Development professional with a strong Interior Design background to join our team at our Head Office in Beirut.
This position combines interior design knowledge with research, product selection, furniture development, and trend analysis. We are looking for someone who is passionate about discovering new concepts, materials, furniture, finishes, and international design trends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research international furniture, interior design, and lifestyle trends.
• Identify new products, materials, finishes, colors, and design concepts.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging opportunities.
• Support furniture and product selection based on brand positioning and market needs.
• Prepare mood boards, presentations, product selections, and design recommendations.
• Follow international exhibitions, designers, brands, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with internal design, commercial, and management teams.
• Contribute creative ideas to product development and collection planning.
• Evaluate products from both aesthetic and commercial perspectives.
Requirements:
• Degree in Interior Design or a closely related field.
• Relevant professional experience in Interior Design, Research & Development, furniture selection, product development, or a similar role.
• Senior-level experience is required.
• Strong passion for furniture, design, materials, and international trends.
• Excellent research and visual presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of furniture styles, materials, finishes, and design principles.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to translate research and trends into commercially relevant recommendations.
• Candidates must be based in Beirut or able to commute to our Beirut Head Office.
