We are looking for an experienced MEP Design Engineer / Drafter to join our engineering team and contribute to the design and preparation of technical documentation for HVAC & plumbing systems.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in MEP engineering studies and technical design, with a strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems and experience working on projects in France.
Responsibilities
- Prepare MEP shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Develop and update technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Prepare detailed plans, sections, schematics and installation drawings.
- Produce engineering calculation notes for HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Participate in the design and development of MEP systems from preliminary design through execution.
- Coordinate MEP systems with architectural, structural and other technical disciplines.
- Review and incorporate technical comments and project revisions.
- Prepare technical documentation for construction and execution phases.
- Ensure drawings and calculations are accurate, coordinated and suitable for site execution.
- Communicate and coordinate with engineers, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Manage assigned tasks independently while respecting project deadlines and technical requirements.
Required Profile
- 3–5 years of professional experience in MEP engineering studies, design or technical drafting.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid experience in HVAC and plumbing design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit – required.
- Previous experience working on projects in France is preferred.
- French language proficiency is preferred (not required).
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and project documentation.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned deliverables.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and technical rigor.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
