The role covers annual brand planning and budgeting, competitor and market analysis, portfolio management across current and pipeline assets, and pre-launch/launch planning for new indications, with performance tracked against defined KPIs each quarter. It also owns patient awareness, education, activation and retention programs, the brand's digital and social media presence, and the pharmacy and trade channel strategy, including pharmacist-facing tools and training. The Marketing Manager builds relationships with KOLs and healthcare stakeholders, supports Sales with field-facing materials and messaging, owns the franchise promotional budget end-to-end, and ensures all activities comply with company, Medical/Legal/Regulatory and ethical promotion standards.
Tasks & Role Details
In this role, the Marketing Manager sits at the center of the Diabetes & Obesity franchise, shaping how our brands are positioned, defended and grown in a market that includes registered same-molecule generic competition. From annual brand planning and budget ownership to competitor tracking and portfolio sequencing across current and pipeline assets, the role sets the commercial direction and keeps it aligned with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Legal and Regulatory at every step.
The mandate goes well beyond the HCP call point. This person builds and runs patient-facing programs that drive disease awareness, education and long-term treatment adherence, shapes our digital and social media presence end-to-end, and grows our footprint at the pharmacy counter through segmentation, training and dispensing-support tools. They're also the face of the franchise to KOLs and key stakeholders, a close partner to Sales on field execution, and the one making sure every initiative stays fully compliant and properly documented.
