About The Role
We are looking for an experienced D365 Cloud Retail POS Senior Consultant to lead and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation and optimization projects, with a strong focus on Retail, Point of Sale (POS), Supply Chain Management (SCM), sales, inventory, and multi-store operations.
The role will be responsible for translating business requirements into effective D365 solutions, supporting implementation and go-live activities, conducting gap analysis, configuring/customizing the application, and ensuring successful adoption by end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail / Commerce and POS implementation activities across HQ and multi-store environments.
- Support go-live activities, including system readiness, POS deployment, issue resolution, and post-go-live support.
- Architect and design solutions for new D365 SCM & Retail implementation projects.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into appropriate Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Perform gap analysis between standard D365 functionality and client/business requirements.
- Configure and customize D365 applications and develop appropriate workarounds to meet business needs.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other departments to understand, communicate, and interpret business processes and requirements.
- Work with key D365 modules, including:
- Product Information Management (PIM)
- Sales & Marketing
- Retail / Commerce
- Point of Sale (POS)
- Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Prepare Business Process Discovery Documents and detailed technical documentation.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), support test scenarios, and coordinate issue resolution.
- Prepare training materials and deliver D365/POS training sessions to end users.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 functionality and evaluate business processes against standard system capabilities.
- Manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously while maintaining agreed timelines and deliverables.
- Provide periodic project status reports, accurate effort estimates, and implementation timelines.
- Coordinate effectively between IT, business users, vendors, and other internal departments throughout existing and new projects.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend system enhancements based on business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant / Senior Consultant, preferably with strong Retail POS / Commerce experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with D365 Retail / Commerce, POS, SCM, Sales & Marketing, and Product Information Management.
- Experience in D365 implementation projects, including configuration, customization, testing, training, and go-live.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes, sales, inventory, and multi-store operations.
- Experience conducting business process analysis, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and UAT.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable D365 solutions.
- Strong documentation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with both technical and business teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good command of English.
