A leading organization in Qatar is seeking a Manager – Security & Compliance to lead cybersecurity governance, information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening security controls, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations, managing security risks, overseeing audits and assessments, and fostering a strong security culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of information security and compliance frameworks.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct risk assessments and drive mitigation plans for identified security risks.
- Manage internal and external security audits, assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Oversee vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response activities.
- Ensure third-party vendors meet security and compliance requirements.
- Partner with business and technology teams to embed security and risk management practices.
- Deliver security awareness and training initiatives across the organization.
- Provide regular reporting to senior management on security risks, compliance status, and remediation activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing security and compliance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, or compliance.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience managing security or compliance functions.
- Strong knowledge of information security frameworks, risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing audits, security assessments, and third-party risk reviews.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CEH, Security+, or ISO 27001 are highly desirable.
