Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role is based at Optimum Wellness Clinic’s location in Masqaţ, Oman. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and support for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating patient appointments, assisting physicians during examinations, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and promoting patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive health. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, adhering to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and safety policies. The nurse is expected to participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and culturally sensitive care environment.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license/registration in Oman (or eligibility to obtain), with completion of an accredited nursing program (diploma or bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
- Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and routine procedures in an outpatient or clinic setting.
- Strong patient communication and counseling abilities, including clear documentation and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of infection control, patient safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.
- Ability to manage multiple patients and tasks, prioritize workload, and remain composed in busy clinical environments.
- Comfort working with electronic medical records and basic computer applications.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and respect for diverse cultural and personal backgrounds.
- Prior experience in a primary care, family medicine, or wellness-focused clinic is an asset; proficiency in English required, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage.
