Join us in building the ultimate online playground!
Poki is a fast-growing tech scale-up on a mission to build the ultimate online playground for casual web games. We have over 100 million monthly players and a thriving community of 500+ game developer teams. We believe sustainable advertising is the best way to keep high-quality games free and accessible across devices. As our Senior Product Manager for Monetisation & Adtech, you'll define how advertising works on Poki for players, developers and advertisers.
What this job is about
You'll own the product strategy for advertising and in-game monetisation on the Poki platform. That includes improving revenue per player and per impression, and evolving our in-game ad formats and integrations. It also means improving our SDK and ad stack, and shaping how advertisers interact with our supply. You'll collaborate across engineering, developer relations, data and business teams. Together you'll ship improvements that help developers earn money, advertisers reach relevant audiences, and players enjoy a great free-to-play experience.
Your work will directly affect 100 million monthly players, 500+ developers and global advertisers. You'll own a critical revenue pillar for the company and build deep knowledge of multi-sided platform dynamics and adtech economics. You'll join a diverse, talented and self-motivated team where autonomy is real, bureaucracy is minimal and experimentation never stops. There's no formal hierarchy, and you'll have a high degree of personal responsibility and freedom.
Your Challenge
- A roadmap you own end to end. You'll own the adtech and monetisation roadmap, from opportunity discovery and experimentation to rollout.
- Ad integrations that work for everyone. You'll evaluate and improve in-game and display/video ad integrations to optimise revenue, user experience and advertiser win rates. Every change touches players, developers and advertisers at once, and you'll balance the needs of all three.
- Better results with developers. You'll collaborate with game developers worldwide to improve SDK adoption and in-game monetisation performance.
- A clear view of the adtech landscape. You'll research how adtech is evolving to find opportunities and advantages for brands and advertisers.
- Poki's long-term monetisation strategy. You'll contribute to Poki's long-term monetisation strategy, business model and platform economics. That includes building buy-in for a vision that goes beyond optimising today's methods and unlocks new revenue streams.
You
- Have 6+ years of Product Management experience, including 2–3 years in online advertising, programmatic or monetisation. For example, Google Ad Manager, header bidding, SSPs or Prebid.
- Are technically literate. You can explain monetisation concepts to engineers and understand integration constraints.
- Are highly analytical. You're comfortable with experimentation, metrics and data-driven prioritisation.
- Are motivated by revenue outcomes. You care about improving developer earnings and platform economics.
- Are an effective stakeholder operator. You align engineering, data and commercial teams to ship meaningful improvements.
- Think strategically while working in an agile, iterative way. You validate ideas early.
