We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation, reliability, and upkeep of our facilities and equipment, supporting the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
Your Mission
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the Company's facilities, equipment, fixtures, and building systems.
This is a hands-on technical role covering general maintenance activities, including basic plumbing, electrical works, HVAC support, carpentry, painting, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance. The role works under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and senior technicians to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained.
Your Impact
- Carry out routine general maintenance and minor repair work across Company facilities.
- Perform basic plumbing work, including repairing minor leaks, replacing taps, hoses, valves and fittings, and clearing minor blockages.
- Carry out basic electrical maintenance within the employee's level of training and competence, including replacing lights, switches, sockets, and minor electrical components.
- Support basic HVAC and air-conditioning maintenance, including cleaning filters, conducting routine checks, and assisting with minor servicing activities.
- Perform minor carpentry work, including repairs to doors, locks, handles, shelves, cabinets, furniture, and other fixtures.
- Carry out basic painting, patching, sealing, and touch-up work as required.
- Assist with the installation, repair, replacement, and adjustment of fixtures, fittings, and general facility equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and identify maintenance requirements, faults, damage, or potential safety concerns.
- Carry out assigned preventive maintenance activities according to established maintenance schedules.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and support the resolution of day-to-day facility issues.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to identify the cause of maintenance issues and escalate complex or specialist repairs to the supervisor.
- Assist senior technicians and approved external contractors with maintenance, servicing, repair, and installation activities.
- Support emergency and breakdown maintenance activities when required.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other maintenance equipment safely and correctly.
- Ensure tools and maintenance equipment are properly maintained, stored, and accounted for.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working area during and after maintenance activities.
- Report damaged equipment, recurring faults, major repairs, and safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow all Company Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) procedures and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain basic records of completed maintenance activities, materials used, and outstanding work where required.
- Support the movement, installation, and relocation of furniture, equipment, and fixtures when required.
- Perform other general maintenance and facilities-related duties assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the role.

Your Expertise
- High School Certificate, vocational certificate, or basic technical qualification.
- Basic practical knowledge of general building and facilities maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair activities.
- Basic ability to identify and troubleshoot common maintenance issues.
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety requirements.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical and maintenance skills.
- Ability to perform physical maintenance activities, including standing, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and working with tools.
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and willing to undertake different maintenance activities as required.
- Ability to work independently on basic assigned tasks and effectively as part of a maintenance team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical training in general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, mechanical maintenance, HVAC, or a related technical trade.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Helper, General Technician, Handyman, or similar technical role would be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, office, retail, hospitality, or facilities environment would be beneficial.
