Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources & General Services Manager to lead the HR function and serve as a strategic business partner to senior management. The successful candidate will oversee HR strategies, policies, and operations while ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives, values, and local employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s HR strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Manage the full range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee engagement, and employee relations.
- Advise senior management on HR policies, workforce planning, organizational development, and change management.
- Establish and monitor performance indicators to ensure alignment between individual performance and company objectives.
- Lead recruitment, orientation, integration, retention, and succession-planning initiatives.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to support the attraction, motivation, and retention of qualified employees.
- Develop and implement local HR policies and procedures in line with company guidelines and Egyptian labor laws.
- Provide professional advice to managers regarding employee performance, development, motivation, and workplace matters.
- Manage industrial relations matters and coordinate with employee representatives, trade unions, and labor authorities when required.
- Monitor employee engagement and workplace climate, ensuring that concerns are addressed effectively and promptly.
- Oversee HR resources, budgets, systems, reports, and employee records.
- Lead and supervise a team of approximately three to five HR employees.
- Support the company’s corporate social responsibility and public affairs initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional HR qualification is an advantage.
- From 7 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, covering key areas such as recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, organizational development, and learning and development.
- Previous experience in an HR managerial or leadership role is required.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law, HR practices, and industrial relations.
- Experience dealing with labor offices, employee representatives, and trade unions is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering accurate and high-quality results.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
