We're hiring a Head of Research for a leading global HFT firm headquartered in Amsterdam. The firm trades across crypto, equities and derivatives in markets worldwide.
The firm has three research teams working in parallel. They want one leader to bring them together into a single, collaborative research group with shared tools, clear priorities and a strong research culture.
This is a research leadership role. You won't need trading experience, and you won't be running a trading book.
What you'll do
- Lead and bring together the firm's research teams into one group
- Set research direction and priorities, and build shared processes and tools
- Bring deep learning expertise to the firm's core research
- Hire and develop top research talent
What they're looking for
- World-class deep learning expertise, from a leading AI lab, university or research institute
- Proven experience leading and growing research teams
- A strong publication record or equivalent recognised impact
- Comfort in a direct, demanding and fast-moving environment
- Based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate
