Position Overview
- Role: Electro-Technical Officer (ETO)
- Location: Lift Boat -Qatar (Offshore)
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of sea service as an ETO on offshore vessels, with at least 2 years of direct experience on lift boats, self-elevating units, or jack-up barges.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Strong proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, electrical schematics reading, variable frequency drives (VFD), high-voltage (HV) safety, and hydraulic-electric interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Marine Electro-Technology.

Valid Electro-Technical Officer Certificate of Competency – STCW A-III/6.

Valid national Certificate of Competency with applicable Flag State endorsement/recognition.

High Voltage (HV) Management / Operational

Valid DP System Manufacturer approved DP Maintenance Course.

Valid BOSIET/FOET (with HUET).

Valid Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate (STCW I/9).

Valid Basic Safety Training (STCW A-VI/1).

Valid Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (STCW A-VI/2-1).

Valid Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF - Reg. VI/3).

Medical First Aid (STCW A-VI/4-1).

Security Training (STCW A-VI/6).

The Management Level Course (MLC) for Marine Engineer Officers (STCW A-III/2).
