Role Description The English Teacher is a full-time, on-site position based at MADAR International School in Al Ain. The role involves planning and delivering engaging English language and literature lessons aligned with the school’s international curriculum and academic standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and instructional materials, teaching classes, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of achievement. The teacher will support individual learning needs, foster critical thinking and strong communication skills, and encourage respect for diverse cultures and values. Additional duties include participating in staff meetings, contributing to curriculum development, attending professional development sessions, and collaborating with colleagues and families to support student success.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with proven experience in delivering effective lessons to diverse learners.
* Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills, including the ability to design structured, curriculum-aligned learning activities and assessments.
* Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with students, colleagues, and families.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Education, or a closely related field; relevant teaching qualifications or certifications are highly beneficial.
* Experience teaching in international or bilingual school settings and familiarity with AP, TOEFL, or SAT preparation is an advantage.
* Ability to integrate educational technology into teaching, manage classrooms effectively, and support students’ moral and social development.
