Seeking an Engineering Technologist II to support utility projects and field operations. This position is ideal for someone with electric utility experience who is comfortable managing projects, working directly with customers, and coordinating with engineers and field teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage utility projects from start to finish, from initial customer request through completion
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and coordinate project activities
- Spend approximately 60% of the time in the field meeting with customers and supporting project needs
- Coordinate with engineers, field crews, contractors, and other internal teams
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, documentation, and data entry
- Review project information, prepare notes and documentation, and maintain accurate records
- Use Maximo and other systems to manage work activities and project information
- Support projects ranging from smaller customer connections to larger utility projects
- Provide technical support and help identify and resolve project-related issues
Qualifications:
- Previous electric utility experience is required
- Experience with electric distribution or utility projects preferred
- Project management or project coordination experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently in both field and office environments
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Technical degree or related experience preferred
