Required to join an established contractor in Qatar working on road, highway and infrastructure projects. They have multiple ongoing projects and as well as numerous upcoming projects and can provide employment for many years. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across all contractual and commercial activities for large scale infrastructure projects. Drive commercial performance by proactively managing contractual risk, protecting the organisation’s interests, and ensuring effective control of project costs and financial exposure. Lead the administration and negotiation of contracts, claims, and subcontract agreements, while establishing effective commercial controls and governance. Build strong working relationships with project teams, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve commercial matters and support the successful and profitable delivery of projects.
Applicants should meet the following criteria
A degree in engineering, quantity surveying etc
15 + relevant contracts and commercial management experience within the construction industry
A proven track record if working on large scale civil engineering / infrastructure projects
Skilled in Contract Management, Contract Negotiation, Risk Management, Compliance Monitoring, Documentation, Contract Awareness, Reporting
Fluent in Arabic and English
