Role Description The Commercial Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Rotterdam, responsible for supporting and growing Tru-Marine’s commercial activities. Day-to-day tasks include managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and coordinating service bookings in close collaboration with internal technical and operations teams. The role involves following up on leads, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and identifying opportunities for additional services and solutions. The Commercial Executive will handle order processing, maintain accurate commercial documentation, and support contract and pricing negotiations within company guidelines. This position requires regular communication with customers and stakeholders, ensuring timely updates, high-quality service, and alignment with Tru-Marine’s standards of operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess 2–3 years of relevant experience in sales quotation, customer administration, or commercial support.
- Experience in handling quotations, order fulfilment, and invoicing.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess customer service and following up skills, demonstrating responsiveness, reliability, and consistent relationship management.
- Candidates should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in marine, offshore, or industrial services sectors is beneficial, especially in MRO or technical service environments.
- Proficiency in standard office software and basic business documentation (quotations, contracts, reports) is required.
- A relevant diploma or degree in business, commerce, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Rotterdam, collaborate in a diverse team, and communicate comfortably in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP or invoicing systems will be an advantage
