We are recruiting for one of our clients a Cash Van Sales Representative to join their growing healthy bakery and specialty food products business and support the expansion of their products across retail outlets and business customers.
The role combines sales, delivery, customer relationship management, cash collection, and market development. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling products directly, developing new customer accounts, maintaining existing relationships, ensuring proper stock handling, and accurately collecting and reconciling customer payments.
Required Education
BS in Nutritional Sciences, Sales & Marketing, or Business Management
Required Experience & Certificates
Previous experience in cash van sales, FMCG sales, food distribution, retail sales, or route sales is strongly preferred.
Good knowledge of the local market and retail outlets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-service skills.
Ability to develop new business and work independently in the field.
Reliable, organized, and comfortable handling cash and stock.
Valid driving license (Public Valid License).
Basic ability to use WhatsApp, mobile applications, and simple sales reports.
Experience in bakery, healthy food, FMCG, or food distribution is a must.
Tasks and Duties
Visit assigned customers and sales areas according to a planned route.
Sell products directly and achieve daily/weekly sales targets.
Develop new customers, including supermarkets, gyms, cafés, health stores, and other relevant outlets.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and encourage repeat orders.
Ensure products are properly displayed, rotated, and presented at customer locations where applicable.
Collect cash payments and issue/maintain accurate sales and collection records.
Reconcile daily sales, cash collections, stock issued, returned goods, and remaining stock.
Monitor product expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
Report customer feedback, competitor activity, pricing observations, and market opportunities.
Coordinate with production and management regarding stock requirements and customer demand.
Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle and products during transportation.
