Role Description The Biomedical Engineer Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based in Beirut. This role involves promoting and selling medical equipment solutions, including respiratory care, audiology, and robotic surgery products, to hospitals, clinics, and home-care providers. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with healthcare professionals, understanding clinical needs, demonstrating equipment, preparing quotations, and following up on leads and tenders. The Biomedical Engineer Sales professional collaborates with technical and clinical teams to ensure proper installation, training, and after-sales support, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of product features and industry trends. The role also includes maintaining accurate sales records, contributing to market analysis, and building long-term relationships with customers to support patient-centered care.
Qualifications
* Strong foundation in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering, with practical understanding of medical equipment applications.
* Experience with Medical Equipment and Equipment Maintenance, including troubleshooting and coordination with technical support teams.
* Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance practices to help advise customers on equipment lifecycle, reliability, and safety.
* Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Proven sales, account management, or customer-facing experience in healthcare or medical devices is highly beneficial.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects.
* Comfort working on-site with clinical staff and patients’ environments, adhering to safety and ethical standards.
* Proficiency in basic office and CRM software; fluency in English and local languages is an advantage.
