Job Title: Assistant Sales Support Engineer

ViaLighting is a leading provider of innovative architectural lighting solutions, headquartered in Riyadh, operates as a specialized Lighting Design and Consulting studio with expertise in strategic design consulting and value engineering.
ViaLighting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented employee or graduate to join our team as an Assistant Sales Support Engineer. This is an excellent entry-point into the lighting industry, where you will play a key support role in creating technical and commercial proposals. You will learn to prepare competitive offers, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure high-quality submissions to help our sales team win projects. We provide comprehensive training and mentorship for the right candidate.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in reviewing project specifications, BOQs, and drawings to help prepare accurate lighting offers.
- Support the coordination with suppliers and manufacturers to gather quotations, technical data sheets, and product documentation.
- Help prepare cost comparisons and ensure all documentation aligns with project requirements.
- Contribute to the development of technical submittals and other documentation for client review.
- Maintain organized digital records of all quotations, offers, and technical files.
- Learn to provide technical support for the sales team during the proposal phase.
- Assist in providing basic after-sales support by helping to address client inquiries and simple product-related issues.
- Participate in internal meetings and training sessions to build industry knowledge.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. (Graduates of 2023/2024 are encouraged to apply).
- 0-1 year of experience in a technical or support role; experience through academic projects or internships is a plus. Fresh graduates are welcome.
- A foundational understanding or strong academic interest in lighting principles and products is preferred.
- Good proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook). Familiarity with AutoCAD or Dialux is a significant advantage.
- Eagerness to learn about lighting brands, suppliers, and international standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive team player with excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple support tasks and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
