We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions and ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, including tax filings (GST, VAT, TDS, etc. as applicable).
- Support audits by providing documentation and explanations to auditors.
- Monitor and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CA certification preferred).
- 1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
