Workshop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles to manufacturer standards. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, adherence to safety and quality guidelines, and effective communication with the service team to ensure timely and efficient vehicle turnaround.
- Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, etc.).
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer and company standards.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and report any additional required work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on job cards or digital systems.
- Ensure workshop tools and equipment are used safely and maintained properly.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with service advisors and parts department for smooth workflow.
- Attend technical training sessions as required.
