Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Beirut. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-current systems. Day-to-day tasks include preparing drawings and technical documentation, performing calculations, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with local codes and international standards. The role also involves participating in site visits, supporting installation and commissioning activities, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors. The Electrical Engineer will contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals, with solid knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
* Candidates should possess practical skills in Electrical Design, including layout development, load calculations, and preparation of engineering drawings and specifications.
* Candidates should possess expertise in Power Distribution and Power Systems, including system configuration, protection, and coordination studies.
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
* Previous experience in building services or infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
* Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with electrical calculation tools.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site in Beirut.
