Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welder and Fabricator role based in Mecca. The Welder and Fabricator will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks on metal structures, parts, and equipment used in company operations, following technical drawings and specifications. Daily activities include setting up welding equipment, measuring and cutting materials, assembling components, and inspecting finished work to ensure quality and safety standards are met. The role also involves maintaining tools and machinery, identifying repair needs, and collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime. The successful candidate will follow all workplace safety procedures and support continuous improvement in fabrication processes.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong general welding skills, including Welding and familiarity with Materials used in fabrication.
* Candidates should possess expertise in Arc Welding for structural and repair work.
* Candidates should possess proficiency in MIG Welding for efficient joining of various metal components.
* Candidates should possess proficiency in TIG Welding for precision work and high-quality finishes.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
* Knowledge of safety standards and practices related to welding, fabrication, and workshop environments.
* Previous experience as a welder/fabricator or in a similar metalworking role; vocational training or certification in welding is an advantage.
* Physical ability to work in an industrial environment, including lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
