Job Summary:
The Technical Manager is responsible for leading the design, engineering, implementation, and support of Extra Low Voltage systems across multiple high-profile projects.
This role oversees technical teams, ensures compliance with standards, manages project deliverables, and provides expert-level guidance on ELV technologies including Security Systems, ICT Infrastructure, Audio-Visual Systems, BMS, Fire Alarm, Access Control, and related solutions.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical depth, project management expertise, leadership capability, and hands-on ELV experience.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Engineering
· Lead the full engineering lifecycle of ELV systems, including design, drawings, calculations, technical submittals, method statements, and commissioning.
· Provide expert guidance on ELV architectures, integration, and best practices across all project stages.
· Evaluate and recommend new technologies, innovations, and solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Project & Delivery Management
· Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and technical deliverables to ensure on-time and quality project completion.
· Ensure all engineering outputs comply with local/international standards and project specifications.
· Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover activities while maintaining strict quality control.
Team Management & Coordination
· Lead, train, and mentor engineering and technical teams, ensuring high levels of competency and performance.
· Coordinate effectively with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
· Review installation works, BOQs, shop drawings, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
· Representing the company in technical discussions, progress meetings, and site reviews.
· Support pre-sales activities, tender preparations, cost estimation, and solution design.
· Provide expert input on system improvements, risk mitigation, and change management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering (or related discipline).
· 5–10 years of solid experience in ELV systems engineering, design, and project management.
· Strong hands-on expertise with:
o CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
o Access Control & Intrusion Systems
o Fire Alarm & Life Safety Systems
o Public Address & Audio-Visual Systems
o Structured Cabling & Network Infrastructure
o BMS, SMATV/IPTV, Intercom & Integrated Security Solutions
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and industry-standard ELV design tools.
· Strong leadership qualities, decision-making skills, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
· Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
· Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
