Role Summary:
We are looking for an Remote Ecommerce Engineer who has strong technical skillset to contribute to our ecommerce initiatives. The candidate has comprehensive experience in developing e-commerce platform and a solid understanding of system and application integrations. The candidate has exposure to e-commerce business processes. The ideal candidate is analytical and capable to translate our companies’ and customers’ needs into functional, appealing, and interactive applications. Job Description:
· Develop and customize web themes, user facing features and pages
· Very strong experience in Laravel.
· Develop and maintain e-commerce backend and APIs
· Develop custom applications
· Participate in the integration points between different systems and applications (ecommerce platforms, ERP, and mobile applications…)
· Test, debug, and maintain integration elements and points
· Support the usability of applications and platforms
· Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
· Document and act on functional requirements
· Support back-end and front-end developers to produce outstanding results
· Develop and maintain Magento 2.0 and other core web-based applications
· Assure that all user input is validated before submission
· Test sites to ensure optimal usability and availability
· Maintain high awareness of industry trends, particularly regarding accessibility and usability of emerging technologies
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree major in Computer Science, Computer Application, Software Engineering or any relevant major
· Magento Front-End Developer or backend Certification is major plus
· Proven work experience as full stack developer (3+ years) with at least 3 years backend Laravel development
· Real experience in building PHP and Laravel based application/ platforms
· eCommerce sites, HTML5, Java, jQuery, CSS3, image authoring tools, REST API development, GIT, XML, JSON, and LAMP stack
· Experience with APIs and Connectors
· Knowledge in Magento 2
· Proficiency in Web analytics and SEO techniques
· In-depth understanding of the entire web development process
· Deep exposure to cross-browser compatibilities and workarounds
