Role Description As our Human Resources Officer, you own the HR function end to end. You’ll handle recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, attendance and leave, employee relations and performance — building clear, consistent HR practice across the head office and branch network in a fast-growing, regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and onboarding
- Handle onboarding and offboarding end to end, including contracts, induction, clearance and exit interviews
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records, files and org data
- Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs with Finance, including allowances, overtime and end-of-service
- Administer attendance, leave balances and schedules for both office-based and shift-based teams
- Act as first point of contact for employee queries; handle grievances and disciplinary cases fairly and confidentially
- Draft and maintain HR policies and the employee handbook, and advise managers on their application
- Run the performance appraisal cycle and track training and development plans
- Ensure HR practice stays aligned with labour law and internal governance across all locations
- Prepare HR reports for management: headcount, turnover, recruitment status, absenteeism and overtime
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
- Proven track record across the full generalist scope: recruitment, payroll, employee relations and performance
- Solid working knowledge of labour law and employment practice; multi-jurisdiction exposure is a plus
- Experience in financial services, brokerage or another regulated industry is a strong advantage
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace / JIRA
- High integrity and discretion in handling confidential employee and payroll information
- Strong interpersonal skills, with credibility across junior staff and senior management
- Fluency in English and Arabic (written and verbal)
- Well organised, deadline-driven and able to build structure independently
