1. Develop, implement, and continuously improve procurement policies, procedures, approval workflows, and best practices to strengthen governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
2. Lead and oversee the company's day-to-day procurement operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient purchasing.
3. Develop sourcing strategies, identify qualified suppliers, and manage supplier selection, negotiations, and procurement activities to achieve the best value for the company.
4. Build, maintain, and evaluate long-term relationships with suppliers and vendors, monitoring their performance to ensure quality, reliability, competitive pricing, and service excellence.
5. Obtain and evaluate a minimum of three quotations for purchases exceeding the approved procurement threshold, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
6. Oversee the procurement of office supplies, stationery, furniture, consumables, technical equipment, and other operational requirements.
7. Coordinate deliveries, logistics, and inventory movements with suppliers, drivers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure business continuity.
8. Create and manage purchase requests, purchase orders, supplier records, inventory transactions, and procurement documentation (contracts, quotations, invoices, and delivery records) through Odoo ERP, ensuring accuracy and proper record keeping.
9. Collaborate with the Finance and Accounting Department on procurement approvals, budgets, invoice processing, and payment follow-ups, and coordinate with the IT Department on technical procurement requirements and specifications.
10. Review procurement and inventory processes regularly, identify opportunities for improvement, optimize costs, and recommend initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness.
11. Prepare procurement, supplier performance, inventory, and purchasing reports for management, providing insights to support informed decision-making.
12. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, internal controls, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations.
13. Support strategic procurement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement and inventory management across the organization.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and procurement processes.·
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Odoo ERP is highly preferred.
- Bilingual (English and Arabic); additional languages are a plus.
