Role Description The Weaving Head Section is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in the weaving department. This role manages weaving production schedules, supervises team members, and ensures that fabric quality and output meet company standards and customer specifications. The position involves monitoring weaving machines, coordinating maintenance needs, and optimizing processes to reduce downtime and waste. The Weaving Head Section collaborates closely with quality control, dyeing, and finishing teams to maintain consistent product standards and support timely order fulfillment. The role also includes training and guiding staff, enforcing workplace safety practices, and preparing regular reports on production performance and resource utilization.
Qualifications
- * Strong knowledge of weaving processes, loom operation, and fabric construction, with experience managing weaving production lines.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise teams, including task delegation, performance monitoring, and staff development.
- Experience with quality control in textiles, including identifying fabric defects, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining standards.
- Competence in production planning, workflow optimization, and basic data analysis for efficiency and cost control.
- Familiarity with textile machinery maintenance coordination and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional departments and external stakeholders.
- Relevant technical or vocational qualification in textiles, weaving technology, or industrial production; prior experience in a similar supervisory role is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Egypt, with flexibility to respond to production needs and resolve operational issues promptly.
