Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating international trade compliance, logistics operations, quality requirements, and customer service activities. The role ensures that shipments are processed accurately and on time, comply with applicable import/export regulations, meet quality standards, and provide customers with timely and effective support.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Compliance
- Ensure import and export transactions comply with applicable customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, shipping documents, and other trade documentation.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve customs and clearance issues.
- Support HS code classification, country-of-origin requirements, and trade documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and support internal and external compliance audits.
- Monitor changes in customs and trade regulations and communicate relevant requirements to stakeholders.
Logistics & Supply Chain
- Coordinate shipments from order confirmation through delivery.
- Work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Track shipments and proactively address delays, documentation issues, or delivery exceptions.
- Coordinate inventory availability and shipping priorities with relevant departments.
- Monitor logistics performance, lead times, and transportation costs.
Quality
- Ensure products and shipments meet defined quality and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality, Operations, and suppliers regarding quality issues and non-conformities.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions related to customer or shipment issues.
- Maintain accurate quality and logistics records.
Customer Service
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers regarding orders, shipments, delivery status, and documentation.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve complaints or service issues.
- Provide customers with accurate order and shipment updates.
- Coordinate internally with Sales, Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and Logistics teams to resolve customer issues.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through professional and proactive communication.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Experience in trade compliance, logistics, supply chain, customer service, or a combination of these areas.
- Good knowledge of import/export processes and shipping documentation.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
- Understanding of quality management and customer complaint handling.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems is an advantage.
- Good command of English, particularly written and business communication.
