We are looking for a hands-on Team Lead for a key system development team. The role combines close team leadership with active, hands-on software development.
You will lead and develop a central team while also contributing directly to system development in day-to-day work.
The team develops and maintains applications supporting some of the organization's highest-priority areas. One of the key responsibilities is an application used for receiving, long-term preservation, and providing access to a digital archive.
The team currently consists of seven employees working closely with the business in a cross-functional environment, with daily interaction with business experts and other development teams.
The team follows agile ways of working, and development is primarily Python-based.
The role may expand to include additional applications, and there may also be opportunities to work with other system development teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of system developers.
- Provide close day-to-day leadership while remaining hands-on with system development.
- Participate actively in software development and technical work.
- Support and develop the team's ways of working.
- Collaborate closely with business experts and other development teams.
- Work according to agile development practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of business-critical applications.
- Support change initiatives and goal-setting within the team.
Mandatory Requirements
- Competence Level 4, corresponding to 9 to 12 years of experience.
- Strong spoken and written Swedish.
- Swedish citizenship.

- Ability to work on-site at the office in Gävle at least 50% of the time.
- Good experience in a Team Lead role.
- Strong experience as a System Developer using commonly used programming languages.
Preferred Requirements
- Previous experience in similar combined Team Lead and System Developer roles.
- Experience with Python development.
- Experience with change management.
- Experience with goal-setting and goal management.
