Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Interior Architect to join our design team and take a leading role in the development and execution of high-end residential, commercial, and mixed-use interior projects.
The Senior Interior Architect will be responsible for taking projects from concept development through detailed design and execution, translating design concepts into functional, technically accurate, and visually compelling interior spaces. The role requires strong design judgment, advanced 3D visualization and technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and provide guidance and technical support to junior designers and architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of interior design concepts for high-end residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
- Develop projects from initial concepts through detailed design, technical documentation, and execution.
- Produce high-quality 3D models, realistic renders, and architectural visualizations for presentations and client approvals.
- Prepare detailed interior layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and execution drawings.
- Develop detailed designs for furniture, ceilings, lighting, flooring, joinery, doors, windows, wall treatments, and other interior elements.
- Select and specify appropriate materials, finishes, textures, furniture, and FF&E in line with the design concept and project requirements.
- Ensure design solutions are both aesthetically strong and technically feasible for execution.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with approved designs.
- Conduct site visits and follow up on execution to ensure design intent, quality, and detailing are properly maintained.
- Prepare and review BOQs, material specifications, and design documentation when required.
- Communicate directly with clients and senior stakeholders, presenting design concepts and incorporating feedback appropriately.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, accuracy, and agreed deadlines.
- Identify design and execution challenges and propose practical and creative solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior interior architects and designers.
- Maintain high standards of design quality, detailing, documentation, and presentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of relevant professional experience in interior architecture/design, preferably with experience in high-end residential, luxury villas, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- Strong experience managing projects from concept design through detailed design and execution.
- Excellent command of 3ds Max with advanced 3D modeling capabilities.
- Strong proficiency in Corona Renderer and/or V-Ray.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and strong proficiency in relevant design and visualization software.
- Strong understanding of interior architectural detailing, materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, joinery, and spatial planning.
- Strong ability to produce and interpret technical and execution drawings.
- Experience reviewing shop drawings and coordinating with contractors and consultants.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and the practical execution of interior design.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and other relevant visualization/presentation tools.
- Ability to develop high-quality photorealistic visualizations and presentations.
- Strong design sense combined with excellent technical and execution knowledge.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring junior team members is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
