We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong UK or US tax background, ideally gained within a Big Four firm, international professional services organisation or a large multinational corporate environment.
This is a senior leadership position requiring a combination of strong technical tax expertise, commercial judgement and strategic thinking, with the ability to advise senior management on tax implications across business operations, investments, restructurings and transactions.

- Lead tax analysis for M&A, acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, JVs and other strategic transactions.
- Advise management on the tax implications of new investments, business structures and cross-border activities.
- Oversee tax compliance, tax reporting, filings and interactions with tax authorities and external advisers.
- Establish and maintain robust tax governance, controls, policies and processes.
- Monitor changes in international tax legislation and assess their impact on the Group.
- Provide leadership on transfer pricing, cross-border transactions and international tax structuring.
- Oversee implementation and compliance relating to OECD BEPS / Pillar Two and other relevant international tax developments, where applicable.
- Manage tax audits, enquiries, disputes and controversy matters in coordination with external advisers.
- Partner closely with Finance, Legal, Corporate Development, Treasury and senior management on complex commercial matters.
- Provide tax input into investment decisions, financing structures and corporate transactions.
- Manage relationships with Big Four firms, legal advisers, tax authorities and other external stakeholders.
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing tax function, including setting standards, processes and talent development.
- Present tax risks, opportunities and recommendations clearly to senior management and the Board.
Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of relevant tax experience, with significant experience at Director / Head of Tax level or equivalent.
- Strong UK or US tax background is essential.
- Experience in corporate tax, international tax and tax advisory within a Big Four, multinational corporation, investment group or comparable organisation.
- Strong technical understanding of international tax, cross-border structuring and corporate tax matters.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and complex corporate structures.
- Proven experience advising on M&A, restructuring, investments and other strategic transactions.
- Strong understanding of tax governance, compliance, risk management and tax reporting.
- Experience with transfer pricing and international tax planning.
- Knowledge of OECD BEPS / Pillar Two and evolving global tax frameworks is highly desirable.
- Experience managing tax audits, disputes and relationships with tax authorities.
- Strong commercial understanding and the ability to translate complex tax matters into practical business recommendations.
- Proven experience managing and developing tax teams.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with senior executives, Boards, investors and external advisers.
Qualifications
- UK: ACA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
- US: CPA, EA or equivalent recognised US tax qualification.
- A combination of UK and US tax experience would be highly advantageous.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related discipline.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a strategic tax leader, not simply a technical tax specialist. You should be able to combine deep UK or US tax expertise with a strong understanding of international business, transactions and commercial decision-making.
You will be expected to challenge assumptions, identify tax risks and opportunities, and provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders in a complex and fast-moving environment.
If you are an experienced Tax Director with a strong UK or US background and are interested in a senior Group-level opportunity in the GCC, we would like to hear from you.
