Digitus Group, a leading Kuwait-based ICT and systems integration company, is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and lead telecom infrastructure and network solutions for major government, oil & gas, and utility clients.
What you'll do
- Design end-to-end telecom and network solutions: IP/MPLS, SDH/DWDM, LAN/WAN, data center and wireless
- Design fiber optic networks: backbone and access, OSP/ISP, FTTx/GPON, and long-haul fiber routes
- Plan telecom infrastructure including ducts, manholes, cabinets, towers and shelters
- Build security into network designs (segmentation, firewalls, NAC, secure OT/ICS networks) and support AI-ready infrastructure for high-bandwidth workloads
- Lead technical responses to tenders: solution design, BOQs, compliance sheets and presentations
- Work with technology vendors and partners to evaluate, select and size solutions
- Present solutions to clients and support the sales team through closure
- Hand designs over to delivery teams and support implementation, testing (OTDR, splicing) and acceptance
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Communications or Computer Engineering
- 8+ years in telecom/networking, with at least 5 years in a solution architect or presales role
- Hands-on experience with fiber network design and telecom infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, transport networks and network management
- Experience with Kuwait government or oil & gas tenders is a strong plus
- Certifications such as CCIE/CCNP, HCIE, JNCIE, FOA/CFOT or RCDD preferred
- Awareness of network security best practices and trends such as AIOps and network automation is a plus
- Excellent English; Arabic is an advantage
