Role Description The Ship Manager role is a full-time on-site position based in Amman. The Ship Manager oversees day-to-day vessel operations, including scheduling, coordination of port calls, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and company standards. Responsibilities include managing ship maintenance plans, monitoring operational performance, and coordinating with crews, port authorities, and external service providers. The role involves preparing and reviewing operational reports, supporting safety and quality initiatives, and resolving issues that may impact vessel efficiency or service delivery. The Ship Manager also contributes to project planning within the fleet, supports budget management, and works closely with management to improve operational processes.
