The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Wealth Planning Specialist to lead comprehensive wealth-planning analysis, financial strategy development, investment planning, retirement planning, estate and succession considerations, risk management, and long-term client advisory support.
The ideal candidate will combine strong financial-planning expertise with investment knowledge, analytical capability, and excellent relationship-management skills. The role will work closely with clients, relationship managers, investment specialists, tax and legal professionals, and other advisors to develop coordinated wealth strategies aligned with client objectives, circumstances, risk tolerance, liquidity requirements, and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
- * Develop comprehensive wealth-planning strategies for high-net-worth and affluent individuals, families, executives, entrepreneurs, and business owners.
- Conduct detailed client discovery and financial-planning assessments.
- Understand client objectives, financial circumstances, family structures, business interests, liquidity needs, and long-term priorities.
- Assess client assets, liabilities, income, expenses, investments, insurance coverage, and other financial resources.
- Develop detailed personal financial statements and wealth-position analyses.

- Develop integrated wealth plans covering investment, retirement, liquidity, risk management, estate, succession, and philanthropic objectives where appropriate.
- Translate client objectives into measurable financial-planning goals and implementation priorities.
- Develop long-term financial projections using approved planning methodologies and assumptions.
- Prepare cash-flow forecasts, wealth accumulation models, retirement projections, and financial scenarios.
- Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to assess the potential impact of market conditions, income changes, expenses, inflation, longevity, and other variables.
- Assess client investment portfolios in the context of broader wealth-planning objectives.
- Analyze asset allocation, diversification, concentration, liquidity, investment risk, and expected portfolio behavior.
- Coordinate with investment specialists and portfolio managers on appropriate investment strategies.
- Evaluate the alignment between client risk tolerance, investment objectives, time horizon, and portfolio structure.
- Identify concentration risks in equities, businesses, real estate, or other significant assets.
- Develop liquidity strategies for short-, medium-, and long-term financial requirements.

- Model retirement scenarios and assess potential income sustainability under different assumptions.
- Evaluate pension, annuity, investment, and other retirement-income sources where applicable.
- Support clients with succession and intergenerational wealth-planning considerations.
- Coordinate with qualified legal and tax professionals regarding estate structures, trusts, succession arrangements, and applicable tax considerations.
- Ensure estate and tax matters are appropriately referred to licensed or qualified specialists where required.
- Analyze business-owner wealth considerations, including business interests, liquidity events, succession, and personal wealth diversification.
- Support planning around business sales, ownership transitions, liquidity events, and major capital transactions.
- Coordinate with legal, tax, corporate-finance, and investment professionals on complex client situations.
- Evaluate insurance and risk-management requirements as part of comprehensive wealth planning.
- Review life, health, disability, property, liability, and other relevant protection arrangements.
- Identify potential gaps between client financial risks and existing protection structures.
- Coordinate with approved insurance and risk specialists where additional analysis or solutions are required.
- Support philanthropic and charitable-planning objectives where applicable.
- Develop wealth-transfer and gifting strategies in coordination with appropriate legal and tax professionals.
- Review existing estate, succession, and beneficiary arrangements and identify areas requiring specialist review.
- Prepare comprehensive wealth-planning reports, recommendations, financial models, and client presentations.
- Explain financial-planning concepts, assumptions, risks, and potential outcomes clearly to clients.
- Present alternative planning scenarios and explain their financial implications objectively.
- Ensure recommendations are consistent with documented client objectives, risk profiles, financial circumstances, and applicable advisory requirements.

- Coordinate with Relationship Managers to ensure wealth plans are integrated into broader client relationships.

- Monitor changes in client circumstances, family structures, income, assets, liabilities, business interests, and financial objectives.
- Update wealth plans following significant life events, market developments, liquidity events, or changes in client priorities.
- Monitor implementation of agreed wealth-planning actions and follow up on outstanding requirements.
- Coordinate with investment, banking, lending, insurance, tax, legal, and estate-planning specialists to support implementation.
- Maintain a centralized view of client wealth structures and planning priorities where appropriate.
- Monitor portfolio and financial-plan performance against agreed objectives and assumptions.
- Conduct periodic plan reviews and identify deviations from expected financial outcomes.
