Chedid Capital is looking for a Human Resources Officer to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function across all company entities. The role ensures accurate employee data management, compliance with legal requirements, smooth execution of HR processes, and effective support to employees and management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and physical files, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist in payroll processing and the administration of employee benefits, including insurance and retirement plans.
- Support compliance with labor laws, NSSF, tax regulations, and company policies across different entities.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding procedures, including contract preparation, document collection, and exit formalities.
- Handle employee medical insurance processes, enrollments, renewals, claims, and coordinate with insurance providers.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll and benefits, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Support HRIS updates, conduct basic troubleshooting, and assist in automation and digitization initiatives.
- Support in monitoring employee attendance records and escalating irregularities when needed.
- Administer leave requests, track balances, and ensure proper approval and documentation.
- Prepare HR-related letters such as salary certificates, recommendation letters, warnings, and other official correspondence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the same field or a similar field.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
