About the role
Makkieh International Group S.A.L. (MIG) is an established FMCG distribution company in Lebanon looking for a hands-on Lead Full-Stack Engineer to take technical ownership of our next generation of digital solutions.
You will work directly with management, understand how the business operates, identify opportunities for digital improvement, recommend the appropriate technical solutions, and take ownership from architecture through development, integration, deployment and continuous improvement.
We are now building the next layer of our digital capabilities from the ground up.
What you will own
• A modern corporate website and digital product catalogue.
• A B2B ordering platform for retailers and business customers.
• Future customer-facing web and mobile applications.
• Integration with our Visual Dolphin ERP, SQL databases and other business systems through APIs and supported interfaces.
• Product, customer, inventory, pricing and order data flows between systems.
• Internal applications and workflow automation.
• Power BI dashboards and management reporting.
• Authentication, permissions, application security, logging and monitoring.
• Development standards, source control, deployment processes and technical documentation.
• Recommendations on future architecture, technologies and digital priorities.
You will be expected to take technical ownership from day one and help establish the software foundation MIG will build on over the coming years.
What we’re looking for
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on full-stack experience.
• Proven experience taking a production application from business requirements through architecture, development, integration and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of modern frontend/backend architecture, SQL databases and REST APIs.
• Experience integrating applications with ERP systems, databases or other business platforms.
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, application security and user permissions.
• Experience deploying and maintaining production applications, including Git, testing and documentation.
• Ability to work independently, make technical decisions and take ownership.
• Experience with mobile/cross-platform development is an advantage.
• Power BI, data analytics, FMCG, distribution or B2B/e-commerce experience is a strong advantage.
The type of person we’re looking for
There is currently no development department or predefined technical architecture at MIG. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership, working directly with management and business users, and turning broad business needs into practical technical solutions.
You should be proactive, independent, able to make sound technical recommendations, and comfortable creating structure where it does not yet exist.
