FEER McQUEEN is looking for a talented Senior Video Editor to join our creative team and produce high-quality, engaging video content across digital platforms. We’re looking for someone with a sharp creative eye, a strong understanding of social media trends, and hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance creativity and streamline editing workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Edit engaging video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms, as well as long-form videos, branded content, and campaigns.
- Transform raw footage, scripts, and creative briefs into compelling stories that reflect brand identity and campaign objectives.
- Optimize videos for different platforms, including pacing, hooks, aspect ratios, captions, subtitles, and trending audio.
- Integrate AI-powered tools into editing workflows to improve efficiency, enhance quality, and expand creative possibilities.
- Research and recommend new AI tools and editing techniques to improve post-production workflows.
- Apply motion graphics, sound design, color correction, and visual effects to deliver polished content.
- Collaborate with producers, content creators, and marketing and social media teams.
- Manage multiple projects and revisions while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide creative guidance and feedback to junior editors when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience, particularly in social media and short-form content.
- A BA in Film, Video Production, Audiovisual Arts, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered editing and content creation tools, such as Adobe Firefly, Runway, Descript, ElevenLabs, Topaz, or similar platforms.
- Strong skills in motion graphics, sound design, color correction, and visual storytelling.
- A solid understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and their content formats.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, organization, and time management.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing diverse video editing and digital content projects.
- Nice to have: Experience with DaVinci Resolve or CapCut, and proficiency in more than one language.
