- Title: Project Manager
- Type: Full-time · Fully remote
About Web TonicWeb Tonic is a performance-driven, 360° digital marketing agency: Google Ads, SEO, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, web design and full growth marketing programs. We work with fast-scaling brands and enterprise accounts across North America, the Middle East and Asia. Our team is fully distributed — developers, designers, copywriters, media buyers and strategists — and everything ships through the project manager.
The role
- * You are the person who makes sure things actually land: websites go live on the promised date, new clients are onboarded with every access in hand, every page is checked before a client ever sees it, and no client is ever left wondering what's happening. You run multiple projects and multiple clients in parallel, across time zones, without dropping details.
- This is a hands-on execution role, not a strategy seat. Your output is measured in delivered projects, clean launches and clients who never have to chase you.
What you'll doEnd-to-end website delivery
- * Own website builds (Webflow, WordPress, Shopify) from kickoff to launch: scope, timeline, task breakdown, assignments to designers and developers, QA rounds, go-live.
- Keep the project board the single source of truth — tasks, owners, due dates, dependencies, no orphan work.
- Escalate slippage before the deadline, not after, with a proposed recovery plan.
Client onboarding
- * Run new-client onboarding start to finish: kickoff call, intake forms, and the full access checklist — Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, Meta Business Manager, CMS/hosting, domain/DNS, GBP, email platform.
- Chase and verify each access until it is actually working, not just "requested".
- Hand delivery teams a complete kickoff package so work starts on day one instead of week two.
Quality control
- * QC every landing page and deliverable before it reaches a client: copy typos, broken links, forms and tracking firing, responsive behaviour on mobile/tablet, image quality, alt text, meta titles and descriptions, URL slugs, 404s, redirects, page speed, brand consistency, FR/EN parity on bilingual sites.
- Keep and improve a written QC checklist; log recurring defects so the same mistake doesn't ship twice.
Deadlines and follow-up
- * Own the delivery calendar across all active projects and be the one who says out loud when a date is at risk.
- Follow up with clients on pending feedback, approvals, content and assets — politely, persistently, on a schedule.
- Send clear status updates so no client and no internal team member has to ask "where are we?"
What you must have
- * 2+ years as a project manager, project coordinator or traffic manager inside a marketing agency (agency/marketing environment is non-negotiable — you must know what juggling several clients at once feels like).
- AI fluency is a must (Hermes, Viktor, Claude, OpenClaw, Etc). You must be a quick learner and use AI everyday. This is non-negotiable.
- Proven experience shipping website projects end to end, coordinating designers and developers.
- Extreme organization and attention to detail — you catch the typo, the broken form and the missing redirect that everyone else scrolled past.
- Fluent, professional written and spoken English; comfortable being client-facing.
- Comfortable in project management software (Teamwork, Asana, ClickUp, Monday, Jira — we run Teamwork) and able to keep it genuinely up to date.
- Working understanding of the web/marketing stack: CMS platforms, DNS basics, tracking (GA4, GTM, pixels), and enough SEO literacy to QC titles, slugs and metadata.
- Self-managing in a remote, async-first team; strong written communication.
- Reliable home office, camera-on, quiet environment.
Nice to have
- * French bilingual (part of our client base is in Quebec) and able to proofread FR copy.
- Hands-on Webflow experience (CMS collections, publishing) and comfort with Loom-based QA feedback.
- Experience with onboarding/portal tools, Figma, and light copy editing.
- Overlap with North American business hours.
How to apply
- * Send your CV plus a short answer (written or 3-minute Loom) to these four:
- The largest website project you personally managed end to end: scope, team size, timeline, and whether it launched on time.
- How many clients and projects did you run in parallel at your last agency, and in which tool?
- Walk us through your QC checklist before a landing page goes live to a client.
- Tell us about a project that slipped. When did you know, what did you do, and what did the client hear from you?
