Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Beirut Governorate, Lebanon. This role is responsible for maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The Senior Accountant prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supports budgeting and forecasting, and assists in tax calculations and compliance with local regulations. The role includes reviewing junior team members’ work, supporting audit preparations, and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues. The Senior Accountant also contributes to process improvements, implements accounting best practices, and helps ensure timely closing of financial periods.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost control, financial reporting standards, and local tax regulations.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid skills in spreadsheets and financial analysis tools.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders and collaborate within a team.
- Several years of progressive experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in a professional services or firm environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion with confidential information, and commitment to ethical professional standards.
- Ability to work on-site in Beirut Governorate, Lebanon, and willingness to engage directly with clients when required.
