Role Description The Senior Project Manager – Country Manager Track is a full-time, hybrid role based in Stockholm, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role oversees end-to-end project delivery across MICE, Premium Leisure, Sports Hospitality, and other specialized segments, ensuring projects are scoped, planned, and executed on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager coordinates with local and international teams, suppliers, and clients to manage itineraries, logistics, and service quality, while identifying opportunities to grow market share in Sweden and the Nordic region. Daily responsibilities include leading project teams, monitoring project performance, managing risk and compliance, preparing reports and forecasts, and optimizing processes aligned with company standards. The role also supports the development of the local office toward a potential Country Manager position, contributing to business strategy, client acquisition, and long-term relationship management.
Qualifications
- * Experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder communication.
- Background as an Expeditor and experience with Expediting in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Knowledge of Inspection processes related to service quality, compliance, and operational standards.
- Skills in Logistics Management, particularly for travel, events, or tourism projects.
- Proven experience in the tourism, travel, events, or hospitality sector, ideally in international or MICE-related projects.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and time management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Swedish and/or other languages is an advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to guide project teams and collaborate across cultures and functions.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup, with the capacity to operate independently and take ownership of deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism Management, Logistics, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
