Role Description The Senior Pricing Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies for freight and logistics services. This role involves analyzing market rates, customer requirements, and internal cost structures to prepare accurate and competitive quotes. The Senior Pricing Analyst will collaborate closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to support deal structuring, margin optimization, and contract negotiations. Daily tasks include collecting and interpreting data, maintaining pricing tools, preparing reports and dashboards, and recommending adjustments to pricing models based on performance and market trends. The role also includes monitoring competitor activity, ensuring pricing aligns with company policies, and contributing to continuous improvement of pricing processes.
Qualifications
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop pricing recommendations.
* Proficiency in data analysis, including use of spreadsheets, BI tools, or analytics software.
* Finance skills, including understanding of cost structures, margins, and profitability analysis.
* Sales-related skills, with the ability to support commercial teams in negotiations and customer proposals.
* Effective communication skills to present pricing insights clearly to stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Logistics, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
* Experience in freight, logistics, or transportation pricing is highly beneficial.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with pricing tools and ERP or TMS systems is a plus.
* Ability to work on-site in Dubai and collaborate effectively within a diverse, cross-functional team.
