Role Description The Senior Audit Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for leading and overseeing financial and operational audits for a portfolio of clients. This role includes planning audit engagements, assessing risks, reviewing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Senior Audit Manager will review and analyze financial statements, supervise audit teams, and provide clear, actionable recommendations to improve financial reporting and control environments. The role also involves collaborating with advisory and tax teams, preparing detailed audit reports, communicating findings to client leadership, and supporting continuous improvement of audit methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Accounting, with a solid understanding of audit principles and standards.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Audits, including planning, execution, and review of audit engagements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in analyzing and interpreting Financial Statements for accuracy, compliance, and risk identification.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and develop practical recommendations.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Significant experience in audit management, ideally within consulting or advisory environments.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to clients.
- Demonstrated ability to lead remote teams, manage multiple engagements, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with GCC or UAE regulatory frameworks and business environments is an advantage.
