Job Purpose:
To support the Quality Control and Process Control activities by conducting routine physical and chemical tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished gypsum board products. The role ensures that products meet the required quality specifications and standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine physical and chemical laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products as per approved standards and procedures.
- Inspect in-process and finished gypsum board products to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Follow approved test methods, formulas, specifications, and laboratory procedures accurately.
- Record and maintain test results in logbooks, worksheets, and computer-based systems accurately and on time.
- Identify and report any quality deviations or non-conformities to the concerned supervisor and production team.
- Ensure the QC laboratory and inspection area are maintained in a safe, clean, organized, and environmentally responsible manner.
- Comply with the Quality Management System (QMS), EHSMS requirements, and ISO 9001 standards applicable to the role.
- Ensure all inspection and testing activities are carried out in accordance with approved company procedures and applicable standards
