Role Description
- Identify and source reliable suppliers for construction materials and services
- Request and evaluate quotations based on project requirements
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions
- Prepare and process LPOs, coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, and follow up on pending orders to ensure materials are delivered on schedule and per project requirements
- Monitor market prices and maintain an updated supplier database
- Coordinate with site and project teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules
- Ensure procurement activities are completed within the required budget and timeline
- Maintain proper procurement records and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in procurement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is a must
- Strong knowledge of civil and MEP construction materials, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Experience sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Strong knowledge of RFQs, quotations, LPOs, and supplier coordination
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate closely with the Project, Site, and Accounts teams
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and procurement workflows
