Role Description The Pricing Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The individual in this role will develop and maintain competitive freight and logistics pricing for ocean, air, and land transport services, ensuring alignment with company margins and market conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing rate information from carriers and partners, preparing quotations for customers and agents, and updating internal rate databases. The Pricing Executive will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to support bids, tenders, and key accounts, and to respond promptly to pricing inquiries. The role also involves monitoring market trends, cost structures, and competitor activity, providing insights to management, and contributing to process improvements in pricing and profitability analysis.
Qualifications
- * Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret cost structures, margins, and market rate trends.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding, NVOCC operations, and multimodal logistics (ocean, air, land), including container types and trade lanes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools for rate calculations, data management, and reporting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with sales, operations, and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented approach, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple quotations and deadlines simultaneously.
- Prior experience in pricing, sales support, or commercial roles in shipping or logistics is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai and adapt to a multicultural, international business setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
