Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Beirut, Lebanon
Start Date: Immediate
SANDY NOUR is seeking a Senior Accountant with 6–10 years of experience to oversee accounting activities across our Lebanon and UAE companies, working from our Beirut office.
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional who can work independently, supervise accounting staff, and deliver accurate financial reporting within strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting activities for our Lebanon and UAE companies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting.
- Prepare financial reports and oversee month-end and year-end closing.
- Review intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and balances.
- Ensure compliance with Lebanese and UAE accounting and tax requirements, coordinating with external advisers where needed.
- Supervise accounting staff, review their work, and follow up on deadlines.
- Work closely with management across Beirut and Dubai.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience, including responsibility for UAE company accounts.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements.
- Good knowledge of Lebanese taxation, VAT, and NSSF requirements.
- Experience managing multiple entities, currencies, and intercompany transactions.
- Advanced Excel skills; Odoo experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication, organisation, and team supervision skills.
- Good command of Arabic and English; French is a plus.
