Role Description The Planning Team Leader Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo. This role oversees demand and production planning activities, ensuring projects and operations are scheduled efficiently and aligned with resource availability and client requirements. The Planning Team Leader Engineer analyzes data and performance indicators to develop and adjust plans, coordinates with cross-functional teams, and prepares regular reports on progress and risks. Daily responsibilities include leading and mentoring planning staff, facilitating communication between engineering, procurement, and site teams, and implementing planning tools and best practices to improve accuracy and reliability. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to strategic planning decisions.
Qualifications
- * Strong demand planning and production planning skills, with the ability to develop and manage detailed project and operational schedules.
- Advanced analytical skills for interpreting data, forecasting needs, and optimizing resources and timelines.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Proven team leadership skills, including mentoring team members, delegating tasks, and managing performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Architectural, or Industrial) or a related field.
- Experience in construction, contracting, or engineering environments, preferably in planning or project control roles.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
