Pastry Chef / Senior Pastry Chef – International Hospitality Group
A leading hospitality group is looking for an experienced Pastry Chef / Senior Pastry Chef to join its culinary team, with the flexibility to travel internationally across the group’s portfolio.
This is an opportunity for a talented pastry professional who is comfortable working across different international locations and supporting the group’s operations, openings and projects as required. The ideal candidate will have strong pastry expertise, high standards of execution and the flexibility to adapt to different culinary environments and teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute day-to-day pastry operations to a consistently high standard.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality pastries, desserts and baked products in line with the concept and culinary standards.
- Lead and support the pastry team, ensuring strong organization, discipline and consistency.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, quality and attention to detail.
- Support menu development, new products and seasonal pastry offerings.
- Ensure correct mise en place, production planning and efficient kitchen organisation.
- Monitor food quality, waste, portion control and product consistency.
- Manage pastry stock, ordering and inventory in coordination with the wider culinary team.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
- Train and develop junior pastry team members.
- Work closely with Executive Chefs and senior culinary leadership across different projects.
- Support international openings, launches and operational assignments as required.
- Travel internationally to different locations across the group’s portfolio.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Senior Pastry Chef or similar senior pastry position.
- Strong background within high-end hospitality, luxury hotels, premium restaurants or leading hospitality groups.
- Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques, desserts, viennoiserie and modern pastry.
- Strong attention to detail, consistency and presentation.
- Previous experience leading and developing pastry teams.
- Good understanding of food costs, stock control and kitchen operations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working across different countries and culinary environments.
- Fluent English.
- Must hold a passport and have the legal right to travel and work across relevant European and GCC destinations without significant visa restrictions.
- Must be willing and able to travel internationally as required by the business.
- Previous international hospitality experience is highly advantageous.
- Available to travel and relocate for short- or long-term assignments as required.
