About the Role:
We are a growing company headquartered in Kuwait, and we are seeking a hands-on, skilled Off-Grid Power Systems & Electronics Engineer to execute a specialized project based in Doha, Qatar.
In this role, you will take charge of building custom power architectures for caravans and mobile units. This includes building custom lithium battery banks, assembling inverters, DC-to-DC/AC-to-DC converters, working with circuit boards, and programming microcontrollers (such as ESP32) to create a custom touch monitor screen tracking all sensor levels and electrical metrics in real time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Execution (Doha, Qatar): Work on-site on our project in Qatar to design, build, and deploy custom caravan power and monitoring systems.
- Power Electronics Assembly: Hands-on build and integration of inverters, DC-to-DC converters, AC-to-DC chargers, and solar power setups for mobile applications.
- Lithium Battery & BMS Build: Assemble and configure custom lithium battery packs alongside Battery Management Systems (BMS) for safe power storage.
- Custom Monitoring System Development: Design and program a smart touch monitor screen (e.g., using ESP32) to display live data for water/gas tank levels, sensor states, and complete electrical details (voltages, currents, solar generation, and battery percentage).
- Circuit & Board Work: Work directly with electronic circuit boards, wiring, and component-level troubleshooting.
- Company Collaboration: Report to and coordinate with our main branch team based in Kuwait.
Skills
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in power electronics, battery integration, or embedded hardware systems.
- Core Technical Skills:
- Deep experience building/working with inverters, DC-DC, and AC-DC power converters.
- Hands-on expertise with lithium battery packs and BMS configuration.
- Solid circuit board and electronics wiring knowledge.
- Experience programming microcontrollers (like ESP32) and building custom sensor/monitoring display dashboards.
- Location & Travel: Willingness and legal ability to be deployed for hands-on project work in Doha, Qatar, coordinated through our Kuwait head office.
